ALTHEA-MARIE EDWARDS-PENNANT

Originally from London, Althea-Marie started ballet at the age of 2,5 training in the ISTD Imperial Classical Ballet method all the way through to the Advanced Level. 

Althea-Marie was part of the senior fitting team at Freed of London, during which time she worked with The Royal Ballet School, English National Ballet School, English National Ballet's Swan Lake, Bejart Ballet, Phantom of the Opera and the London 2012 Olympic Games, to name a few.

 

Althea-Marie has had many different career paths, however ballet has always been her true passion and she always found a way to include it into her life.

 

She began her teaching career as a teenager, assisting her local teacher and started teaching in Sweden in 2019 at ABF Stockholm.

 

Althea-Marie has a bbodance  Diploma in Dance Teaching,  with many years of teaching and dancing experience; she specialises in 60 + ballet for seniors as well as adult beginners through to the foundation level.

 

As well as teaching, she manages the website for The International Ballet School, works as a voiceover artist and actor, and is a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (Undersköterska) specialising in the field of psychiatric care. 

Althea-Marie speaks English and Swedish.
