A preparatory class focusing on movement with narrative and music to prepare your little one for their first baby ballet class. Attendance is with an accompanying adult.

Baby Ballet
Learning basic ballet and pre-ballet motor skills through storytelling and imagination. All our baby classes take part in open days and recitals. Classes are accompanied by a Swedish-speaking assistant.

Pre-Primary
A basic ballet class building on motor skills, rhythm, and movement learned at the baby level.
Students explore storytelling through ballet and mime.
All Pre-Primary students join the annual recital and open days. Classes include a Swedish-speaking assistant.

Primary
At this level, we delve into basic ballet steps and exercises to enhance coordination, musicality, and flexibility. Primary students begin learning a dance that aids cognitive memory and storytelling through movement, performing in our annual recital and special open days. Classes include support from a Swedish-speaking assistant.

Age guidelines: 6 years old
Group 1 Level
The emphasis is on learning basic ballet terminology and remembering exercises. Students learn arm positions, combine ballet steps, and develop flexibility from the primary level while expressing themselves through dance. All Group 1 students perform in our annual recital and special open days, with a Swedish-speaking assistant present in classes.
1 hour - once a week = 14 sessions per term

Group 2 Level
Group 2 focuses on barre work and center practice for ballet precision. Students learn rhythmic combinations to enhance memory and musicality. Everyone participates in open days, with chances to be selected for the Aspiring Associates: a preparatory class of our Pre-Professional program. Classes also feature a Swedish-speaking assistant.

Group 3 Level
Group 3 is now mastering advanced step and terminology, focusing on ballet delivery, anatomy, and placement. Emphasis is placed on musicality and coordination of arms and legs, as they learn a set dance to express themselves.

Age guidelines: 9-10 years old
Group 4/5 Level
Group 4/5 has learned to perform basic ballet steps with proper placement and coordination. They focus on detailed combinations and following the music. They participate in our annual recital and special open days, with homework assigned to reinforce terminology.

Group 6 Level
Groups 6 learns complex ballet steps with proper placement and coordination, focusing on combinations and musicality. They participate in our annual recital, with homework to reinforce terminology. Pointe work preparation begins.
Training 3 times a week including pre-pointe or pointework.

Grade 7
Grade 7 follows the Royal Academy Of Dance syllabus. The RAD is one of the world´s most influential dance education organizations. All students have a choice to participate in examinations with an international examiner. Their exams set standards in classical ballet and are a global leader in continuing professional development for dancers. Grade 7 includes pointe work.
