Isidora Markovic
Isidora Markovic is a freelance dancer, choreographer, and educator. After training in Belgrade, Isidora received a scholarship for the Ballett Akademie Die Hochschule für Musik und Theater München under the direction of Jan Broeckx.
She began her professional career with the Bavarian State Ballet II in 2014. before joining Nuremberg Ballet and Hessisches Staatsballett. She has performed works by Damien Jalet, Sharon Eyal, Hofesh Shechter, Xie Xin, JiÅ™í Kylián, and William Forsythe as well as in classical repertoire works by George Balanchine, John Neumeier and Alexei Ratmansky, amongst others. As a freelancer, she worked with TanzMainz, Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève, Hessisches Staatsballett and IVONA.
Her own choreographies have been presented in Germany, Spain and Serbia. Since 2020, Isidora has enjoyed sharing her expertise by teaching both professional dancers and aspiring pre-professional students.
