ABOUT US

Making ballet accessible to all ages, all levels through teaching and performing.

The International Ballet School was founded, as Ballet International back in 2016, for children not living in their own country, or who come from a bilingual household. The idea being that it was a lovely way for children and families to meet new friends from similar backgrounds. Soon after we opened to children who would like to practise the English language more. As all of our classes are held in English, it is making ballet a language in itself accessible to ALL.
Our students learn to develop social and creative skills alongside a musical ear, cognitive memory, perseverance, concentration and self-confidence. In 2019 we moved to larger premises and changed the name to The International Ballet School.
