Following the success of our previous International Intensives we present our fourth year
International Intensive is open to all male and female dancers from vocational schools aged 14 years and above.
We present world renowned guest teachers and professional artists from prestigious vocational schools and ballet companies in both Sweden and abroad.
To pass on invaluable training and information that you can take with you throughout your journey.
This is also an opportunity for students from Sweden and abroad to make new friends, sharing the same passion for dance.
We also offer "Ballerina Talks" a Q & A session at the end of the week's work to gain insight into the life of a Ballerina or Ballerino; alongside this we present a Open day to family to present what we have learnt over the course of the week.

Pointe
Repertoire/ Female and Male variations.
Modern
Body conditioning
Classical mime
Q & A session with an industry professional
The last day of the program features an Open Day.
Scholarships will be available and awarded on the last day to our 2022 Summer Intensive program or a place on one of our Pre-Professional courses as an Associate of The International Ballet School.
Places on the Senior Intensive Program are limited.

Classical teacher-Vanessa Fenton - joining us from London Vanessa former artist of The Royal Ballet Company London and Alumni The Royal Ballet School London. Vanessa also is a choregragper with intensive experience creating for The Royal Ballet Company and School London, The New English Contemporary Company, The Londons Children’s Ballet and The Royal Opera House Educational Department London.

Modern teacher- Hlin Diego Hjalmarsdottir is a Icelandic dancer,choreogragpher.Hlin is currently rehearsal director for The Royal Swedish Ballet Company. She has worked for other companies such as Cullberg Ballet and Gothenburg Dance Company. With her extensive knowledge in modern work she will be reading modern this Summer school year. Hlin also recently choreographed for the main stage Kungliga Operan in Stockholm with The Royal Swedish Ballet Company , her piece entitled Riptide. A huge success.

Improvisation Coach- Toby Kassell former alumni of The Royal Ballet School London after a extensive career ended in Gothenburg Dance Company. After working in classical companies such as Zurich Ballet, Dutch Opera Berlin and more he transitioned to contemporary work at 25 years. He now creates his own work as a cross disciplinary practice and teaches group improvisation focusing on how to find an individual voice through working collectively. A wonderful tool for any young pre-professional to find!
